Best android voice recorder app 201812/10/2023 This app is a lot like the other Automatic Call Recorder app on this list, just less popular. It works well aside from the call log thing.ĭOWNLOAD ON GOOGLE PLAY! Automatic Call Recorder by recorder & smart apps The pro version is expensive but adds a few additional features as well. The app features Google Drive and Dropbox integration along with some other neat little functions to help things out. It was hit hard by the call log change in Google Play’s policies, but it’s still a functional call recorder. Unless otherwise specified, assume the below apps are only available for Android 8.1 and under.Īutomatic Call Recorder by Appliqato is one of the most popular call recorder apps for Android. Here are the best call recorder apps for Android! We’re sorry we can’t be more specific, but Google really doesn’t want people to record phone calls right now. We got all of these to work at least once on at least one tester phone and on at least one version of Android. Those that work on Android 10 have complicated installation instructions and even then, it’s not guaranteed. It’s honestly impossible to tell for sure on every device. Some of these may work in Android 8.0 and earlier and some may work in Android 9 and 10. Google has made it very difficult to make this work. Others have different ways, but require complicated set-ups and insane amounts of permissions. Many call recorders record the loudspeaker, similar to a voice recorder app, but that requires you to make all of your calls over speakerphone. Android’s support is sketchy at best and it’s actually quite difficult to record calls on newer versions of Android. We recommend looking up your country’s laws before using one of these apps.Ĭall recorder apps have a lot of issues. However, the practice borders on illegal in a lot of areas. Some people like to keep phone calls recorded for legal and security reasons. Call recorder apps have a bunch of legitimate uses.

Dnd 5e repeating crossbow12/10/2023 A free hand is required to use the crossbow and load it with its ammunition,.Even if we rule that you need to draw the string back for a hand crossbow, nothing says you need a free hand to draw the string back, only to place a bolt within it.Normally speaking, a Hand Crossbow has the Ammunition and Loading properties. If the ammo is intended to appear in your hand, why exactly couldn't a person use the Sling as a bludgeoning device afterwards? This says to me that it's intended to create the ammo specifically in the process of attacking.Īnd a final, most obvious bit, you don't actually load anything. The ammo is only created when used for a ranged attack, so if you attempt to use a Sling that you haven't loaded as an improvised weapon (it must be loaded to deal damage) it won't create ammunition. Slings are probably the best indication of how this is intended to function. The rules for needing a free hand to load are specific to the Hand Crossbow, Sling and Blowgun. You're conflating two different sets of rules. You already use both hands to attack with the weapon, there's no need for a free hand because both are used to operate the weapon. You do know they don't have the loading property? The mechanic works differently for them from the get go.īesides, as you say, they're Two-Handed, and so are the Light and Heavy Crossbow. If the weapon draws the string for you, do you still need two hands to use a bow with the repeating shot infusion?Assuming you mean for a hand Crossbow, just for aiming and stability as above.īut if that wasn't shorthand and you do mean a regular old Bow. but if another DM decided to rule that you still needed a free hand with the repeating shot infusion then I would say it is his game and he can run it as he sees fit. However, as pointed out, the text does not say explicitly state where the ammunition is produced and does not explicitly state that the ammunition property does not apply to weapons with the repeating shot infusion. however, for the repeating shot infusion, it does not say the ammunition is created in a container or any other specific location - so from the perspective of the ammunition property, you don't need a free hand, since you don't need to pull the ammunition from a container and place it on the weapon. In addition, the ammunition property states "Drawing the Ammunition from a Quiver, case, or other container is part of the Attack (you need a free hand to load a one-handed weapon).". That's how I would run it and that is how I believe it is meant to be interpreted. The common location in any scenario is in the proper location on the weapon. The weapon could be fired, dropped, picked up by someone else and by the rules it would still produce its own ammunition. The weapon does not know where the hand of the operator is located, or even whether it is being held at all. I'd argue that if the weapon is creating its own ammunition, it would be creating it where the ammunition would be launched from. The ammunition created by the weapon vanishes the instant after it hits or misses a target." "If you load no ammunition in the weapon, it produces its own, automatically creating one piece of magic ammunition when you make a ranged attack with it.

Blood mpv12/10/2023 The volume may be represented as the equivalent spherical diameter, and measured particle sizes can be binned using a height analyzer circuit and a particle size distribution. Using counter and pulse analyzer circuits, the number and volume of particles passing through the sensing zone can be measured. The patented advancements of the Enhanced Coulter Principle allow a high-quality, reportable MPV, for every patient sample-even for thrombocytopenic patients. Advancing Hematology to Improve Diagnosis Neither the platelet count nor the MPV test is diagnostic, but both can aid in clinical decision making and suggest the need for and direction of further testing. 9 Low MPV may also simply be a response to medications such as heparin. For example, low MPV has been associated with diseases including systemic lupus erythematosus, 7 hypothyroidism, 8 and HIV infection. Like a high MPV indicates younger platelets, a low MPV indicates older platelets and can be indicative of disease. Coupling the platelet count with the MPV can indicate different associated conditions. Following blood loss or destruction of platelets, the bone marrow releases more megakaryocytes, which in turn, are fragmented into large platelets. The Mean Platelet Volume (MPV) parameter, the average volume of individual platelets, is derived from the PLT histogram (Figure 1).Ī high MPV, indicating larger platelets, is indicative of more young platelets in the blood. In addition to knowing the number of platelets, it is important to understand platelet size. Together, these results may provide diagnostic predictive value and aid in clinical decision making. Mean platelet volume is a measurement of platelet size and provides further information on platelet function. Platelet function assays and platelet levels, which can be done independently or as part of the CBC with differential, are done to evaluate platelet quantity and show how well those platelets work. Because platelets are required for clot formation, thrombocytopenia can result in abnormal bleeding (e.g., excessive nose bleeds), petechiae (tiny bruises under the skin), and prolonged bleeding. Conversely, low levels of platelets, thrombocytopenia, occurs either when there are too few platelets produced, when too many platelets are destroyed, or when the platelets don’t function correctly. 6 In both conditions, abnormal blood clotting, thrombosis, can lead to strokes, embolisms, and thromboses. Thrombocytosis, or secondary thrombocytosis, is a high platelet count caused by another condition such as infection or inflammation. Thrombocythemia, also called Essential Thrombocythemia, is a rare myeloproliferative neoplasm where the bone marrow produces too many megakaryocytes leading to too many platelets. There are two main high-platelet conditions. High platelet levels can lead to excessive clot formation. More platelets bind to the site, fibrin and thrombin are activated, red blood cells are trapped in the fibers, and ultimately, a clot is formed. Platelets are attracted to the wound, become sticky, and adhere to the injury site causing more clotting factors to be released. 5 When a blood vessel is injured, hemostasis is initiated. 5 Although there are about 150,000-350,000 platelets per microliter of blood, platelets are so small that they don’t warrant a volume percentage. Generally, a healthy person’s blood is about 60% plasma and about 40% red and white blood cells. As with other blood cells, platelets are produced in the bone marrow. Platelets, or thrombocytes, are small fragments of megakaryocyte cells and are vital for normal blood clotting. 1 As an X-linked recessive condition, hemophilia affects males more than females, 2 while von Willebrand disease 3 and many other bleeding disorders 4 affect females more frequently than males. In 2020, over 210,000 people worldwide were living with hemophilia disease and 84,000 were living with von Willebrand disease. There are a variety of platelet disorders that can stem from congenital platelet defects (e.g., von Willebrand disease, hemophilia A) or from external factors (e.g., acquired from taking certain medications).

Best way to kill manta ark12/9/2023 Take a rather large mount, such as a Paracer, Rex or Spino, and go to shallow waters near the coast. SCUBA Flippers also assist greatly in evasion should it became angered making the taming process a game of "Feed and Run" just go to shore and it'll lose aggro making a Trap completely unnecessary. If they start to wander off to deeper waters, go in with your mount again and bait them back to the shallow. Just don't come in contact with his forward parts, upper side or underside and everything will be alright (by going into very shallow, you can not come in contact with lower and upper side, making the process a lot(!) easier). You can touch his stingers and his rear end of the "wings" without him attacking you. Use an amphibious mount to lure them into very shallow water (so they can't go up or down), jump on land, apply Bug Repellant on yourself, put on your scuba fins and approach the manta from the rear. (Tested on SP)īug Repellant works against their aggro radius. You will need scuba fins to keep up with the Basilosaurus's wandering, and Lazarus Chowder or a scuba tank are recommended for oxygen, but you don't strictly need a mount (though a strong one is recommended in case you make a mistake and the mantas all attack you.) Bring extra AnglerGel due to the difficulty of pinpointing a single manta in the swarm it is easiest to just feed and tame all of them as you're able to get within feeding range. The mantas swarming around a Basilosaurus seem pacified and won't attack survivors even if touched, unless something sets them off like a "free-range" manta attacking your mount, or the Basilosaurus eating something and activating the group aggro. There are multiple strategies you can use to tame one. When attacking, the Manta becomes hungry a lot quicker (feeding ~every 20 seconds), in other circumstances it takes ~ 1 minute until you can feed him again. It seems the feeding counter has 2 different ways to count down. Mantas are tamed using AnglerGel, which is dropped by the Angler. However, the main problem you are going to face is that unlike the Ichthy and Mesopithecus, the Manta is a hostile creature which makes this tame very frustrating and, due to the Manta's high damage output, even dangerous. This is kind of similar to the Ichthyosaurus and Mesopithecus. The Manta is tamed passively, meaning it must not be rendered unconscious before taming it. Note that the values are for optimal cases, always bring extra supplies!įor a level-dependent count of resources needed, try an external taming calculator. For instance, cheat SetTargetDinoColor 0 6 would color the Manta's "body" magenta. This information can be used to alter the Manta's regions by entering cheat SetTargetDinoColor in the cheat console. Hover your cursor over a color to display its name and ID. The colored squares shown underneath each region's description are the colors that the Manta will randomly spawn with to provide an overall range of its natural color scheme. For demonstration, the regions below are colored red over an albino Manta. This section displays the Manta's natural colors and regions. Between this weapon and its fast swimming speed, they are rarely bothered by larger predators. mobula is nevertheless a dangerous creature due to the barbed stinger it carries on its tail. A wide-bodied plankton-eater with distinctive trailing barbules, M. The Manta is an odd-looking fish that lives in the island's deeper offshore waters. Mantas usually swim together in groups of three. They also seem to actively seek out their prey, as tamed aquatic creatures 'parked' near the coast will be regularly attacked by them as well. Simply swimming near them is reason enough for them to attack the player. While its dossier describes the manta to be a docile creature, it is actually anything but docile. Its capability to briefly leap out of water provides it a showy tactic for avoiding combat as well.Ī quick jab through the heart of an unsuspecting survivor can easily take them by surprise! Thusly, many tribes use it as an escort for their slower cargo-carrying swimmers. Tribes who value striking power over speed often keep large schools of Manta to ride. While not the fastest swimmer around the island, Manta mobula is among the deadliest of small ocean mounts. Its tail is incredibly sharp, and can pierce through thick hide and armor with ease. Normally docile, Manta mobula is a carnivore only in that it naturally consumes plankton.įortunately, Manta mobula is usually not aggressive, unless encroached. Perhaps there were originally two types of ray on the island before, but years of interbreeding combined their lineage. Everything points to this being a saltwater ray, but Manta mobula has developed the ability to swim into the island's rivers and shallows, as well as through the open ocean. Here is another example of a creature that seems to have evolved beyond its historical traits.

Chime bed in a box12/9/2023 While we strive to provide useful metrics for the benefit of shoppers, we cannot certify their accuracy at any given time due to potentially incomplete and inaccurate data sources.įurniture shopping is an oftentimes tedious and mundane task. *All metrics regarding customer sentiment are based on aggregated public review content, including reviews that have been submitted to this site and elsewhere that have been evaluated by our data science team. Overall I think this was a GREAT purchase and saved me from buying a $1200 mattress and regretting it. The only thing I've noticed so far is that it's more sunken in on the side I sleep on, but I sleep alone so the other side isn't used, I'll just have to turn the mattress more often than I used to. But over time my body sunk in at all the right places and I tossed and turned less than I have in years! It's been over a month and the firmness is still something I have to get used to when I jump into bed to watch TV at first, but I quickly get comfortable and don't realize it's firm because it surrounds my body in all the right places. I loved my pillowtop which was on the softer side, so the first night in this when I plopped down and barely moved, I was nervous. I was scared to buy a new mattress because they ask you what do you like soft or firm, and honestly, I HAD NO IDEA. At first, it was very firm, or at least more so than I'm used to. I let it expand for 6 hours before sleeping on it and it still expanded to full size. I was also nervous because I got rid of my mattress the afternoon this came in and didn't realize I was supposed to let it rest for 24 hours so it could expand fully. You read reviews about them not opening up all the way and other things that make you nervous. I was skeptical of a mattress in a box for such a long time. If you have found my comments to be helpful, please like or give it thumbs up below. I will give it four stars for now, until the smell dissipates and it is fully expanded. I will just leave it on the floor to air out until tomorrow. I cant smell it across the room or anything. It does have a slight chemical smell but it is not overwhelming. The bottom of the mattress is a dark navy blue fabric. I layed on the mattress and it feels semi firm, but I will keep this updated with time. It looks like the photos and it instantly expanded to 12 inches, but I will wait 24 hrs anyway. I ripped it around the corners, so it had space to expand while still lying on a sheet of plastic. As soon as I ripped into it, the mattress quickly started to fill. It easily pulled apart at the seams of the plastic. Do not use scissors or sharp objects to open the bag. I finally peeled away layers of the wrap and it unfolded out into an air sealed bag. I have the mattress and I decided to open it up today so the air has time to fill before I assemble the bed. Layer 4: The 10" has one last layer of supportive base foam that provides loft to the spine for a supportive feel. The 10" offers a transitional foam layer that reacts more to curves, but is more responsive than memory foam. Layer 3: The 12" and the 8" offerings provide a base foam layer, which has superior support for the back and spine. *Some customers have noted that they do feel some heat retention. This layer helps with pressure point relief and contours around the hips and shoulders. Layer 2: 1-2" of memory foam depending on the selection offered. Here is what's inside the All-Foam Chime Mattresses By Ashley:Ĭover Layer: The cover is a moisture wicking knit cover and has a soft, cozy feel. We'll go through their all-foam and innerspring options to discuss the differences: While there are some fortunate customers that had good things to say, if you're on a budget and durability is a concern, take a look at our top mattresses for the money. However, there are some concerns about long term comfort and the mattresses not fully expanding in some cases, which is a more common problem with very affordable mattresses. Originally these mattresses featured trendy Green Tea infused memory foam, but over the years, they have focused more on traditional foams comfort. Chime mattresses offer very affordable materials used, which is a bonus for shoppers looking for a bargain.

White flag with blue stripes12/9/2023 The term “thin blue line” came into fashion in the 1950s, when Los Angeles Police Chief Bill Parker frequently referenced it in speeches. A spokesman for Bass said Thursday that there was no truth to the rumors. The decision has also given rise to rumors in law enforcement circles that Mayor Karen Bass’ office was planning to remove tributes to fallen officers from all police stations, too. Some officers began circulating a years-old photo of Moore holding the flag while marching beside former L.A. They likened the ban to Moore’s decision to kneel alongside protesters at huge protests following Floyd’s murder. Others felt the angry reaction to the ban was overblown.īut even those who didn’t feel strongly about the flag said it created the perception of kowtowing to progressive activists. Inside the department, some said they saw Moore’s move as the chief taking sides in a clash over policing that has ratcheted up in recent years following the police killings of George Floyd and other Black people, according to officers who spoke with The Times on the condition that their identities be kept secret so that they could speak freely. Jamie McBride, an outspoken union officer, posted a photo of the flag hanging from the side of a house on his Instagram account, with the caption “Shame on you Chief Moore! We bleed BLUE!” During one of her regular appearances on Fox News, former reality star and Olympic decathlete Caitlyn Jenner accused Moore of “going woke on us big time” and predicted that the move would deal a blow to officer morale. Moore’s decision went viral in right-wing media circles as critics lambasted him for what they called his kowtowing to progressive ideals. Flags serve as powerful symbols with specific meanings,” he wrote, adding that officers would still be allowed to display the flag in their personal work spaces, lockers and personal vehicles. “It’s unfortunate that extremist groups have hijacked the use of the ‘Thin Blue Line Flag’ to symbolize their undemocratic, racist, and bigoted views. In a departmentwide email, Moore said the flag’s original meaning of support for police had been overshadowed when it began appearing at rallies for the Proud Boys and other far-right extremist groups. Violators could face discipline, a department spokeswoman said Thursday. The tension between those irreconcilable interpretations spilled over in the Los Angeles Police Department this month, when Chief Michel Moore ordered the flag, which was widely displayed in station lobbies around the city, to be removed from public view.Īlong with banning the flag from station lobbies, Moore said his order includes patches on uniforms and bumper stickers on police vehicles. To others, the black-and-white American flag with a single blue stripe is a potent symbol of the ties between right-wing extremism and American law enforcement. For some, the “thin blue line” flag is an expression of solidarity with police officers who have lost their lives on the job.

Applying thermal paste12/9/2023 Anything more frequent than that is a waste of time and an unnecessary risk. So in a nutshell, I monitor frequently, but only re-paste when monitoring indicates a reason to do so. There's no point and even as an experienced builder, there's still a chance I'll break something in the process. When it starts hitting 70C even momentarily, I'll buy a fresh tube of Noctua paste (because I've been happy with their products, not because it's magic) and re-paste. When that machine starts staying in the low to mid 60's during long renders, I'll start thinking about changing the thermal paste. Those were the numbers at build time, they haven't changed since then, and they're the baseline I use. If the room is very warm, it might make it into the low 60's momentarily, but will come back down to ~60C. Using a Noctua NH-U12A and NT-H1 paste in an over-cooled case to cool an i9-9900k, it can render videos in DaVinci Resolve Studio Native Mode for hours, usually never hitting 60C. I define that as significantly higher than when the paste was applied when performing the same work, or getting close to the safe maximum for the chip.įor example, I have a machine that's optimized for stability during prolonged video rendering. My opinion: Not unless you remove the cooler from the chip, or start experiencing higher temps.
